白凯（Kathryn Bernhardt），1984年美国斯坦福大学历史系博士，现为加利福尼亚大学洛杉矶校区历史系教授，并与黄宗智共任《近代中国》（Moden China）学刊主编。研究领域为明清以来社会经济史，法律史以及妇女史。除了《中国的妇女与财产：960-1949年》（英文版斯坦福大学出版社，1999年）之外，主要著作有《长江下游地区地租、赋税与农民反抗斗争：1840-1950》（斯坦福大学出版社，1992年）和《清代和民国时期中国的民法》（与黄宗智合编，斯坦福大学出版社，1994年）。
